Scott Wallace Structural Engineering, founded in 1992, is an expanding and progressive firm located in Orange County, California. The dynamic team of SWSE is committed to excellence from initial design through project completion. Our ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with the contractor and the entire design team consistently produces cost effective, timely, and aesthetically pleasing projects.

We specialize in the design of custom homes, low-rise commercial buildings, and specialty designs such as the LAX Light Towers and the Garden Grove/Harbor Blvd intersection improvement. Residential projects include remodels, retrofitting, shoring, and metal stud design for both single and multi-story homes. Typical commercial projects for sites such as shopping centers, car dealerships, and medical and office buildings include tilt-up construction, metal stud facade systems, mullion & glazing design, and tenant improvements.

Principals are intimately involved in every project and are responsible for all critical decisions. We perform our own in-house structural review and coordination of all consultant drawings to assure the highest level of document completeness. In addition, we utilize CAD generated contract documents and coordinate with consultants to ensure accuracy and readability for construction.

Using the latest computer technology enables us to develop the most cost efficient designs. All aspects of value engineering are researched during the preliminary and design development stages.  Through our architectural background we have gained a reputation for solving unique problems while maintaining the aesthetic nature of the structure.
